Sourcefront

Media Forefront, Inc. launches Sourcefront which moves beyond the realm of media manufacturing from a strict point of view, and creates a new common place where innovation meets plastic, fabric, metal, rubber custom fabrication, mould injection and mass quantity production lines. Sourcefront eliminates the hassles of working with unnerving and inexperienced factories. Nothing can be more frustrating than to have to promise deadlines to distributors and retailers alike, and having to miss critical dates due to poor coordination on the manufacturing side. Media Forefront and its partners work to align our goals with those of our clients to ensure that products are developed properly from the ground up, and delivered within the given timelines.

Research and Development

Media Forefront acts like a custom tailor coming up with the best fit for each individual scenario. When a project is first received, our objective is to provide our clients with all the necessary information and options that allow them to make the most intuitive decisions from not only a per cost basis, but also an aesthetic and functionality basis. New products can't only be cheap in today's world as consumers are quick to judge; they must also feel, behave, and sound the part. In order to accommodate this, our product engineers work hand in hand with provided technical drawings or create new ones to evaluate the best options. This may mean exploring a multitude of materials types just to find the proper fit. It may also mean adjusting the 3D model so that products are structurally safer for consumer use. After our designs and samples have been confirmed, we work on ways to continually streamline production and improve effectiveness and turnaround times. Before shipping out products, we perform physical, temperature, and humidity based stress tests to make sure that our packaging and shipping methods can withstand the rigors of global transportation.

Product Responsibility

In dealing with Asian overseas manufacturers, the standard template traditionally speaking is placing a 20% to 30% deposit initially on the project start with the remainder due upon the shipment landing to port at the respective countries. However, there are several critical issues that people face using this current system. Questions that should be posed are such as:

What happens if there are defects?

How do I get the factory to make more once the project has already been complete?

What happens when there is a shortage of products?

What happens if the products received do not match the quality of the production sample?

What happens if the products received themselves are not the correct products ordered?

What happens when I am not provided the necessary documentation to clear customs?

What this does is to create a one sided relationship in which the supplier dominates the partnership and the client and supplier do not have congruent goals. In order to remedy this situation, Media Forefront, Inc. maintains the fact that we are always here and can be counted on. We do not expect our clients to pay up front prior to the shipment being released to guarantee customer satisfaction, and we maintain responsibility over products even after the products have been released to the public. We warrant our products will consistently conform to pre-production samples, and will set forth responsible actions if ever the time were to arise.
